I grew up in Calgary and remember flying to Seattle so my brother could get knee surgery without the 9 month waiting period!. We had to pay in cash for it, but he can walk!.
I guess what I'm trying to say is don't act like our system is perfect, it has its flaws!. Less than the US system, but they're still flaws!.
