Yes, the apartment building I live in has some strange freaking things happen!.!.!.
The ground floor, now a bar, was a Funeral Home and was also used as a temp morgue after the Eastland Disaster in the River that runs through downtown Chicago!.
My Great Grandfather was on the ship when it tipped over and his fellow seaman, standing next to him, was crushed by a piano that slid and hit him before he could get out of the way!.
I'm not sure but if he had to identify the bodies of his friends, he would most likely have had to come here!.!.!. to the building I live in today!.
As you can tell, the building is 100+ years old!.!.!. MANY MANY people have died of natural causes in the building!.!.!.
Last winter the woman that lived right above me died of complications from alcoholism, pill addiction, and something else that I'm not sure about!.!.!.
Then a few months ago the chick across the hall from ^that one died!.!.!. She had been told about her kidneys starting to fail and possible tumors due to long term alcoholism and she died in less then a week after the diagnosis!.!.!.
Now we are just waiting for the chick across the hall from me, with massive liver problmes, to die!.!.!. Her brother and co workers have called 911 after she didn't answer the phone more times then I can count in the last year and a half and she does nothing but smoke pot and yell at her dog all day and wallow in her own filth!.!.!. It wouldn't suprise me in the least if she died tomorrow!.!.!.
Residents told me about hearing a child running in the hallway late at night!.!.!. NO kids have lived in the building since at LEAST 1999!.!.!. That was when a friend of ours moved here!.!.!. and who knows how long before he moved in!.!.!. (This is not a "Family Style Building" as you can tell from all the alcoholism)
I wasn't sure if I believed them at first since they could have just been hearing things due to intoxication but after a year or so of living here, I went to wash the switch by the front door and I found a hand print of a child!.!.!. a small child!.!.!. next to the door!.!.!. It could not have been there because the place was painted when my father moved here and no kids had been inside the apartment since then!.!.!.
My cats will follow 'things' across the house and watch things move about my father's bedroom and the living room!.!.!. I would have discounted them as just being "Cracked Out Kitties" but I know my pets too well to not see the alteration in behavior HERE as apposed to other places I have lived!.!.!.
I have felt something in my bedroom with me but I don't give it a second thought since it has never done anything to me and if it wants to watch me type naked!.!.!. So be it!.!.!.
The people in the bar say that when they go to the basement to get cans of suff, it feels like something is trying to pull them back down the stairs!.!.!. I LIKE creepy feelings so I LOVE to go down there with the excuse of "Checking my Electric" and it doesn't frighten me!.!.!. But it scares the crap out of the workers!.!.!.
They didn't know about the history of the building before I told them and I only told them becasue they started telling ME about strange things and feelings!.!.!.
I think it is nifty!.!.!. But I won't 'ask' for signs like on Ghost Hunters until the night before I move out!.!.!. I don't want confirmation until I am OUT OF HERE! LOL!Www@Enter-QA@Com

idk but i think my house is cuz sometimes when i sleep i here strange noises out of my room and then sumtimes my things fall i dont meen i push it down or watever it falls out of no wer i think its creepy this house is like old like 37 years now!. oh and 1 more my cuzin lives near this haunted house in seattle her friends one time wer walking home from school and then they saw the fence fell down and know one lives their and then another time they saw something in the window on the second floor im pretty shure tht was a freak show! but yhaaWww@Enter-QA@Com
