Way too spoiled!. This morning I saw a car in front of me with kids watching tv in the back!. I mean, do people feel that they need to entertain their kids all the time!?
I also see kids in my neighborhood that don't do any chores!. Like next door, they have a 10 yr old boy and a 12 yr old boy they don't even so much as take out the trash, or bring the trash can back up!. They just walk past it because mommy and daddy will do it!.

I do!. It is ridiculous!. When I was a kid, being well behaved was key in not getting your butt smacked and you knew that virtually anything you asked for was going to be denied because, as you already knew, the family couldn't afford it!. Now, I have friends with kids who will struggle pay check to pay check because the kids "needed" a Wi or a Playstation, or a new cell phone!. People do whatever they want, whenever they want with no regard for consequences!. The ridiculous expectations of having what you want without having to earn for it has grown to an all time high!.

It depends!. I think there are some wealthy people who are very intelligent & teach their kids to trust the process of life & will not allow them to have whatever they want unless they manifest it in a way that helps them learn!. I also see very poor kids who have parents who are ill & don't have health care & so many problems & these are not at all spoiled people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes I do!. everything comes alot more easily then it did 30/40 years ago and before and people are taking advantage of it!. And many children are spoiled because many parents are to busy providing that they dont spent enough time with their children therefore they buy them what ever they want to shut them up and occupy them and let them run around doing wat they want like freakin hoodlums!. That's because all the jobs you and I did when we were younger (mowing lawns to earn your money or working at a car wash/ part-time job) are now being performed by illegal aliens!. Teens don't have too many marketable skills and these used to be the jobs that they did, but they're no longer available!. I remember when fast-food joints were where all the kids worked for spending money, but not anymore, I can't even place my order in the language of my country let alone expect to get what I actually ordered!.
When kids work it allows them to establish a work ethic, be exposed to a larger and diverse population of the public, learn how to manage multiple responsibilities (ie!. work/school), as well as learning the value of money!. I have two teen brothers now who are both interested in being employed but there are no jobs because apparently those are the "jobs that nobody wants"!. I didn't know the unemployment rate for the US became zero!. This is really going to hurt the American kids and America as a whole, when their first job is not obtained until after college, they need to get a clue before that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I take my kids to school and am amazed at the cars these kids are driving!. They are given everything and that is going to lead to problems down the road!. My husband has even made comments that they have no work ethic either!.!.!.!. that's because everything has been handed to them on a silver platter!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I agree that a lot are!. It seems there is too much emphasis on self gratification and on wants rather than needs!.
We would do well to take heed of how our grandparents lived, not that we need to go without the advantages of modern times, rather remember who discovered or created or provided them for us, and just what they sacrificed to do so!.In these times of uncertainty, it's best to make do and make last!. Yes they are I agree totally!. I don't spoil my son I give him what he needs and a few things he wants but he has to earn an allowance and work for the things I don't buy him!. Right now he is saving his money for a bow and arrow set tonight he is doing the dishes and tomorrow he will vacume he has chores and gets 50 bucks a month for doing them!. He does good work!
