In the UK we do get a lot of your decent programmes - 24, lost, desperate housewives and ugly Betty which I enjoy
But seriously, we basically invented the decent documentary (King Dave Attenborough) and our comedy is a lot better than American comedy (in my opinion)!.
also, the quality of the picture on American TVs is a bit odd - not sure why this could be - just looks fuzzy!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes and No!.
America is one of the biggest exporters of entertainment!. Hollywood movies and television included!. So over in the UK/Ireland, you will see shows like Gilmore Girls, Ugly Betty, The O!.C, One Tree Hill and etc!.
However there are tons of original shows over there as well!. Some are actually quite popular and have been running for YEARS!. A huge genre there are soaps or soap-style shows!. Programs like Emmerdale and Eastenders have been going on so long its ridiculous!. Then you have similar shows but for a younger generation, take Hollyoaks for example!. That too has been going on for a number of years but its geared more toward the younger set!.
Then of course there are tons of other original shows!. A lot of reality TV shows are popular over here like I'm a Celebrity, Big Brother, Dancing on Ice etc!. Then they have their own set of late night programs like Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway!. Oh and even their own version [and slightly better] of American Idol called the X-Factor!.
So is alot of American TV imported!? Oh yeah most definitely but at the same time there is a ton of original content that sadly isn't exported!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No not really, i live in the UK and there is a lot of american tv programmes, but theres still a lot more british programmes, i've been to america before and have seen american tv, and they only show most of the good ones over here in the uk, as for the rest of europe, i will say that they show far more european tv and they dont show as many american tv programmes as in the uk, also i can tell you tha there are quite a few american tv programmes that originate from the uk, but have been changed for america, whereas in the uk they just show it as it was shown in americaWww@Enter-QA@Com

Sex and The City/Fraser/Family Guy etc etc are brilliant,!.!.i love them shows and others to death!.
I love watching Ellen to,!.!.she's hilarious and has a British sense of humour!.
I love the Maury Show,!.!.it's the weirdest thing i have ever seen,!.!.but it's hilariously addictive! ;)
We also get allot of Australian shows like Soaps Home and Away,Neighbours,and in the past Sons and Daughters,Falcon Crest,Knots Landing!.
Our country's TV shows is a majority of our own Home grown Comedy/Chat/Reality Shows,!.!.!.etc etc!. and from abroad,!.!.we mostly get shows from America and Australia!.
I think it's great to see what other Countries show on there Channels,!.!.it gives you an insight,!.!.and you can find some great shows,!.!.and some cr*p ones to! ;)
