Answers:
Our faith generally starts kicking in when we are no longer able to keep control of whatever it is we are trying to do!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hmm!.!.!.well, for me personally it's those crazy times in my life when everything is going wrong that I turn to God because I need His help most!. That's when I go into what I call "survival mode" and depend on Him completely!.!.!.and then when the dust settles, so to speak I start to forget how much He helped me, and I take His blessings for granted!.!.!.it's like I need a good kick in the butt to remember my faith! So it's kind of the opposite for me!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

maddamselfly has an interesting comment about guardian angels in her pocket!. I carry a guardian angel coin with me wherever I go, knowing full well that I won't be constantly thinking about it but secure in the knowledge that I am always being watched over!. In the heat of the moment one needs to focus on the task at hand, but on later reflection one can see the bigger picture!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think in my own life if I did not have guardian angels in my pocket so to speak I would not be here!.
Having been through the gamut with the Drs and such, not knowing what was wrong or how to correct it thinking I was truly crazy after all Idrew on my spirituality to help me cope with both health and job loss!. That and many tears got me to where I am currently still fighting to overcome my stumbling blocks to reach out to others and offer them my hand knowing that but for the grace of God I would be lost and forlorn with no hope!. I think you are right!. Recently, my dad was in a horrific car crash!. I felt anger and frustration!. It wasn't fair!. We've been through enough!. The accident was 'his fault'!. He missed a stop sign and went underneath a semi-trailer!. He lies brain dead, but otherwise very healthy!. Could be like this for years!. One day, it occured to me, that he 'hit a trailor'!. So what!. It could have been anyone there!. What if he had hit a school bus!. And I thanked the Lord for it not being worse!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I thought there are no atheists in the foxhole!.!.!.!.isn't it a bit uncool to reach only when falling!? Live everyday as best you can, caring for all as best you can, and love yourself as best you can!. The trial started the day you entered the room!. I hope that my faith will have me judged fairly!.!.!.!.
Peace, RWww@Enter-QA@Com

I even today can find things that I need to hand over to God for his answers and not mine!. God can easily find solutions to things that I can not do anything about except be burdened by!. He is a burden lifter!. In fact I can ask him to show me those things and he is faithful to help me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Interesting question! I don't think it's as much forgetting to turn to one's faith as it is KNOWING it's there, helping, guiding, protecting from deep inside!. It is when the dust settles one remembers to give thanks!.
Be well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

As my soccer coach says "if you have a pair use 'em"!.

I think his point is "look within yourself" That's what I do!. I don't really have too much time for "faith" to appear!.

(Badly stated on my part, but I'm trying to translate his Italian rants!.!.,plus I just got back from the bar!.:)

Been there, but I always say-- The Good Lord never gives you a cross too big you can't bear!.It helps when the bullets are flying!.It helps to make me stronger!.I also ask myself--what am I suppose to be learning from this!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

anger is a part of grieving, weather for someone or something, and yes I think we get angry with God during those times!. Yes, we should turn to our faith at those times even more!.!.!.but being human, we don't!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
