Great question! Personally I think all the unknown actors/actresses gave the best briefest performances in the movie!.
Antonio's "Armand" appearance was not very long even though he was the one who made Tom "Lestat" a vampire, but Antonio played his role well!. I feel the same about Christian Slater "Daniel Malloy", the interviewer!.
Tom "Lestat" wore me out during the entire move though his performance was as it should have been!.
Brad "Louis" was outstanding from the beginning to the end of his role in the movie - as was Kirsten Dunst who was only 12 when she played "Claudia" as a 6-year old!.
Did you know that this movie was dedicated to River Phoenix!?
I think Johnny declined because of the homosexual innuendos that were not as acceptable then as they are today!.
I can't believe the movie is 18 years old now!
