i did just this afternoon! i bought a pair of shoes and haven't even had them a week and i wore them twice and the store wouldn't let me return them or exchange! you see, the sole is coming apart from the actual shoe and i think it's a fault in the manufacturing but i was dismayed that they wouldn't even let me exchange! i used to like this store a lot but now i'm having second thoughts and the sales lady was very rude!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Presumably you're in the UK!. Write to the Head Office of the shop setting out in detail what you bought and when and enclose a COPY of your receipt!. Say that the goods were not of merchantable quality, the sale contract is void and you require an immediate refund!. Tell them that you are holding their goods in bail and they are welcome to collect them if they would first ring for an appointment!. also explain what happened when you attempted to return the shoes to the shop with sufficient description so the salesperson gets the sack!. Finish off your letter by saying that if they continue to flout your statutory rights, you will seek a refund and compensation through the county court without further notice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
If you have the receipt by LAW they have to refund or at least exchange but just by goodwill without the receipt they should exchange !.!.!.!.
go back and ask for the manager stating you are also reporting a complaint about the attitude of the staff toward you and that you will be in ontact with their head office !.!.!.!.!.

My boyfriend got stopped and searched by security at tesco for no obvious reason, so we decided to return everything we bought and get a refund, don't want to give our hard earned cash to people that treat us like scum and call us thieves!. now we don't shop there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
