Answers:
I find it terrible that our laws make it illegal for dying people to choose their own death!. If I had a couple of months to live, riddled with pain, loss of life quality, Id end it, illegal or not! Its my body!

My dog was sick a few years back, the vet wasnt even interested in prolonging his life and his pain, we had him put down and it broke my heart!.

My father, when he was dying, lost both legs in seperate operations (after losing toes and a foot in prior smaller operations) his heart, brain, kidneys and lungs were failing!. He begged for release, and even tried comitting suicide in the weeks before he died!.!.he truly had had enough, and watching him die was one of the saddest, heart breaking things Ive ever had to do, and the pain relief they gave him did nothing to help :(

Im all for euthanasia personally, Ive watched death many times, its not pretty :(Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you are talking about suicide!.!.!.!.that is so wrong, there are other answers!. People are not animals and as a matter of fact no animal would willingly kill themselves!. Animals want to live and be happy!. There is always a way to be happy, there just has to be some effort given!. Now if you are talking about physical pain then!.!.!.it's just unethical and when it's your time it's your time, you just gotta wait!. Sometimes they do pull the plug and stuff though!. But seriously it is a lot different than an animal!. I am an animal lover I do have to add!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it depends on what kind of pain that person is in, if it's something incurable like cancer and no amount of pain drugs will ease their suffering and they themselves no longer want to prolong the dying process then i feel they have the right to make that decision with their doctor and family, but it's still against the law in most countries!.
the problem is not with most medical communities but with the religious zealots that feel they need to push their beliefs on to others in the form of laws preventing euthanasia!.
if someone is in great emotional pain, then that's different, they need love, support and treatment from a mental health provider, not assisted suicide!.
were ever possible dignity and easing of chronic incurable disease and pain is the only time i support medically assisted euthanasia!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

?an animal cannot tell you what is wrong, an animal can not walk to get help, an animal can not cry and say help me i need help, a human can, a human has the choice, a human with no choice, no hope, no, love, no light will do whatever they want to do, regardless of a guilt factor, because it's not them who has to be left behind
granted i don't want to see humans, friends or foes suffer, yet until the laws are changed, all you can do is offer love, support & your hand to hold, or the faith, love and the wisdom to be able to help or point out the right direction!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah it is, that is why people who are in pain physically and emotionally have find ways that are easier, suicide!.

besides the goverment has invested alot of money on that person to just kill them!. When they could just charge the family members for some of the money they invested!. That is why it is illegal to choose death over money!.

Good question!.!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, I do find that inhumane!.
I know, that if I'm suffering, and I'm going to suffer until I die, I'd much rather have somebody pull the plug/shoot me in the goddamn face than live out the rest of my life in pain, and watch my loved ones look at me with pity!.
Hopefully, I never have to be in that positionWww@Enter-QA@Com

Absolutely!. Anyone with doubts,Go visit a nursing home and watch as they have to feed an 88 year old who is too weak to feed herself, a 50 year old with brain damage so bad he is a vegetable, or change a diaper on someone who doesn't have the strength to get up and go by themselves!. I believe that, if their quality of life is so terrible that they wish to go, let them!. It is cruel to make them hang on when they don't want to!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well yes, however, if the law would ever allow anyone to do mercy killings it could and would open the door to lots of homicides!. Meaning, if one persons rich unmarried Aunt has terminal cancer the nephew could get impatient and kill her before she is actually ready and claim it was a mercy thing!. etc!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it's a grey area!. like when that woman a couple years was taken off life support, by her husband!. I thought it was cruel that they let her die slowly, when we can give prisoners lethal injections!.At the same time I don't think the husband was a bad man for letting his wife finally be at peace!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

yes Holland has the right idea an allows euthanasia for humans

it is so wrong when someone goes to prison for helping a loved one die when they are in constant pain and already dying!.

I would do it for someone i loved and take the consequencesWww@Enter-QA@Com

I don't find it inhumane, but I do find it *** Backwards because, Animals don't have the ability to tell us that they want to be euthanized, but humans do!. There should be a way to do that, at least for terminally ill PeopleWww@Enter-QA@Com

yep but if worst comes to the worst ill just get my friends or family to do it and if that don't work i guess ill hav to really start to pissed the nurses and docters off!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Too true!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

I hope my kids will be allowed to wheel me out into the woods, stick a 9mm to my head and pull the trigger!.!.!.!.!.!.!.a lot more dignity and much quicker!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't fully understand what you're asking situation-wise, but yes it sounds extremely inhumane!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I feel even humans have the right to die!. If the person doesn't enjoy life because they are so consumed with pain how is that considered living!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes!. It illustrates to me that we are at a point where animal life is almost given more importance than human life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yes and not just the human but his/her family have to sit by and watch the agonyWww@Enter-QA@Com

Nope --- it is not up to others to make the decision to euthanize someone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

its there choice
they can go anytime they want

i think its inhumane that dogs and horses don't even have a choice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i didnt got you compleltly but it must be inhumaneWww@Enter-QA@Com
