No they shouldn't!.!.!.!.they HAD child\children because they wanted to, they wanted another person to love!.They didn't have the kids to get paid for it!.!.!.if they did they did it for the wrong reason!.!.!.!.!.definately the wrong reason!. If you don't love kids it will hard for you to tolerate them (especially when you are living with them full time) no matter how much you are being paid!.!.!.you have to feed them, clothe them, shelter them (meaning provide a house, electricity, gas, water, cable, phone, internet) you need to get them their school supplies every year once they start schools, when they are babies you have to buy diapers, and so on and so on!. Then you have all the emotional stress and pain as well!. Of course there are times you just hold yourself short of choking the child\children too!.!.!.any parent out there knows what I'm talking about!.!.!.!.any future parent WILL know what I'm talking about!. I still wouldn't give it up for the world though!. Not even for money!.!.!.!.being a parent is priceless!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

besides , they get tax deductions for them anyway !.!. that is basically a small salary for them anyway!.
which is cheaper : birth control in some form , or raising a child for 18+ years !? if you can not afford them , use something to prevent them from being conceived !!
just a grumpy old maid's opinion , and because i can not afford the fertility treatments / and the expense of raising a child alone i have chosen not to have a child at this point !! a child needs 2 parents anyway !.!. if i was a single parent , i would feel i am cheating my child out of the experience of having a dad in her / his life!. i do not want that !! being a parent should be something that is priceless anyway!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No they shouldn't!. You choose to have the child then you should pay for it, you shouldn't be paid for bringing a child into the world!. They are your responsibility !. It is a hard job raising them, I should know I have 3 and my youngest has autism , but I don't want no salary for raising them!. My children, my responsibility !Www@Enter-QA@Com
No- yes it is a job, but it is also a choice that you made to become a parent!. If you don't want to be one then don't!. There are ways to prevent becoming pregnant you know!.

In Canada, there is the baby bonus which doesn't cover much of anything!.
