Maybe where you live Walmart decided that it's not a job that needs to be filled as most greeters don't get treated fairly by customers!. Where I live~we still have greeters, but now instead of just saying hi or hello, they make sure that carts are ready for customers and therefore it gives them more interaction with the public!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
Walmart is cutting hours so that is why you dont' see the Walmart Greeters, hey but you will see them during seasonal christmas!!!

I know they still have them in Tennesse!. Usually older people or younger people who have disabilities are the greeters!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Ours still has them but since they are usually pretty old they don't do much greeting to anyone!.!.unless the person is sitting next to them!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
