Okay, psychology time! :) Don't worry, it won't hurt a bit, we're just going to do a little Freud, a bit of cognitive-behavior therapy, and a tiny smidgen of PCT!.
1) Don't listen to the people saying you're lame!. Everyone has a celeb crush every now and again, it doesn't mean you aren't a worthy person!.
2) Try a little Freudian free-association!. Think of your celeb crush, then write down anything and everything you think of while you're thinking about her!. Look at the things you have written and see if maybe there isn't some kind of consistency in the concepts you associate with her (that could give you an idea of why you're having trouble getting over the crush)!.
3) If you find yourself distracted and thinking of her, simply tell yourself, "I don't need her to be a whole, happy person!." Tell yourself this EVERY time you think about her-- make it a contract with yourself to improve your well-being!.
4) If you find that the reason you're crushing so hard is that you're substituting her for a girl you're nervous to talk to, don't worry!. Go up to other girls that you aren't nervous about talking to and simply strike up a conversations or say hi!. That way, you build your confidence with positive reinforcement, and you can go up and talk to the real object of your affection without fear when you're ready!.
5) Keep in mind that if you are thinking of hurting yourself, stalking your crush, or potentially hurting others as a substitute for injuring her or yourself, you need to go to the police and tell them you want to have a voluntary committment!.
