Same reason that ALL bullies do it--for the ringleader to impress the others with how HORRID he/she is!. It's a defence mechanism, because he/she was treated badly themselves in their formative years!. It doesn't get said often enough, but as far as I know there is no such thing as a GANG of BULLIES!. It's just ONE--with hangers-on (cronies) who are desperate for the thug not to turn on THEM!. They may ACT as if they're enjoying it, but they're just pretending!.
If you're goodlooking (female), then there may be a jealousy component, I agree!. Victims are often targeted simply by virtue of being comparatively UNPOPULAR, as in not many (or no) mates!. More susceptible to the bullies!. Such people (loners, etc) are less able to DEAL with the treatment doled out by the bullies--which is why they get targeted!. Most people DON'T get targeted, because they're able to tell them (convincingly) to "f*** off!." or give some of the treatment BACK, in retaliation!. If this happens, the bull(ies) try someone else next time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well i've had it done to me, in my experience people who don't like you are either stupid or envious!. Everyone needs someone to hate, hating someone together is what unites us!.

well, i've been ganged up on before!. They came up to me and stating verbally attacking me saying all this and that while i was just standing there confused and defending myself!. They accused me of doing something wrong, which was definitely not true, but someone had told a big fat lie which caused these girls to go against me!. i'd have to agree it's most likely jealously, maybe even boredom!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
