Question: Have you EVER had a horrible experience with Hospital!?
I am in the midst of this now!.!.!.it is NOT funny whatsoever!.!.!.!.I am getting ready to go public to the AMA and three newspapers with the things that have lead me to my own dilemma!. I will sue btw if it is necessary!.

I went out to the ER one time in so much pain and the nurses tried to tell the Dr!. that they thought it was a gallbladder attack and he said no that I was to young and 2 days later, still in pain I went to my Dr and he ordered an ultrasound and found that my gallbladder was full of gallstones and ended up having emergency surgery to remove it!.!.!. So I went several days in lots of pain b/c he didn't want to check it b/c of my age!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, back in 1999 or so, my boyfriend at the time was complaining of pain in his lower-right abdomen, and I told him that was where his appendix was, and he should go to a doctor!. We went to an HMO, where they traiged him, then basically told him he was OK, and sent him home!. Later in the day, when I was at work, the pain had gotten much worse, and he had called 911 and got an ambulance to the hospital, where it was found that his appendix had burst! The dumb HMO had totally missed it! Apparently, his organs inside were "covering up" the bad area, preventing the infection from spreading through the rest of the body cavity!. They did surgery and removed the appendix!.
If he had just stayed home as the HMO had told him, he could have died!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just recently my MOM spent 12 days in the hospital!. She is elderly and can't take care of herself!. I go to visit and she'd be laying in bed in you know what all over the bed!. You ring the nurse bell and no one comes!. You can't find an aide anywhere!. You can't even get into the supply closet to get clean sheets and a gown and do it yourself because the god d**m door is locked and you can't find anyone to unlock it!. My family and I would up taking turns spending 24 hours a day with her and couldn't wait to get her home!. We were afraid they were gonnal kill her in the hospital due to lack of care!! When I was younger I had to have knee surgery to remove a piece of my kneecap that broke off and was floating around in my knee!.!.!.
When it came time to x-ray my knee to locate it, the nurse failed to tighten the splint!. The consequence being when I was finally under the knife, It took 3 large cuts to find the floating bit because it had moved!. and they were big cuts too, unlike the small keyhole types you get now!.
That was back before everyone was "sue" happy!.!.!.I probably could have sued their butts off over that!.
Luckily for me the scars have faded!.!.!.and if anyone asks, I tell them I was attacked by a shark!! LMAO - I have sucked so many people in with this one!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well I don't usually talk about this but as it is Y!A!. I took an overdose a few years ago and ended up in hospital for a week, it was the worst week of my life, but it has been the best thing that has happened to me and I have learnt so much!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
after i had my first daughter they were trying to give me an IV because i was losing a lot of blood!. well the nurse couldn't get it in me and she just kept on trying! i was literally screaming and crying, it hurt so bad!. she was just digging it into me everytime!. i think she had no clue what she was doing!. i went home with 5 bruises on my arm and hand!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
