Don't* theirs*!. It's called grammar!. Perhaps these people are not putting thumbs down to make theirs look better, maybe your answer wasn't up to par!. People who can give thumbs up and thumbs down have to earn a certain amount of points to be able to judge other answers, sometimes random people rate answers whether they answered the same question as you or not!.
