I am a witness of a chainsaw murder and he saw me i was on the roof because it was windy and i needed fresh air
it was so gory and i was shocked and scared and i was like "oly sh** this can't be happening right next to my back yard"
im scared to death

I have so many questions!
How can be sure you saw what you claim you saw!? If you have any doubt in your mind that what you might have seen isn't true or real, I would hold off on calling law enforcement because you don't want to come off looking like a crackpot or a liarface!.
also, I don't know where you live, but it is close to hunting season!.!.!. Are you sure it was a PERSON!?
If you are certain you witnessed a "Chainsaw Murder," why WOULDN'T you call the police!? I find it hard to believe that you are the only witness to this if you could see it happening from the roof of your house!. I'm sure that neighbors or passers by might have heard screaming and yelling or whatever before the chainsaw even started up!. I mean, do you have any idea what it would take to discreetly move a dead body without anyone seeing or noticing and thinking it was out of the ordinary!? And, if a person was going to use a chainsaw, why would they be doing it out in the open like that!? (At least it sounds like it was in the open if you could see them from the roof!.!.!.) Something about your story isn't adding up, and there certainly aren't enough details!.

I'm betting that if you were to call in and speak to the police about what you saw, they would either have you go to the police station or they would come to your home and interview you!. If they felt you were in danger, they would then move you to a protective custody environment while they investigated your allegations and made an arrest!.
Either way, you need to determine if you can live with knowing what you know, and letting it go without saying anything!. If you can live with that, then I guess I wouldn't worry about it!. But, keep in mind that everybody is somebody to someone out there!. How would you feel if that was your mother, friend, or even brother/sister over there getting butchered and someone saw it, but didn't do anything about it!? If you don't report it for your own peace of mind, do it for the victim's family!.
