I am not a racist!.
Racism is not caused by fear, it is taught by people that are ignorant to their children!. No child is born prejudiced, just watch very young children in a day care, preschool or park setting and you will see that they do not segregate themselves!. Parents that make a deliberate decision to teach racism to their children must do it from a very young age or else the child's own sense of fairness overrides what the parents try to do!.
I was nine years old when my father tried to teach me to be prejudiced against blacks!. It didn't work because I already had a sense of right and wrong!. Until that age I had never been around anyone of color, but, by that time I was able to see past skin color and eye shape to see the person within!. I am grateful that my dad waited too long for that lesson!. I was successful in teaching my children that all people are the same - regardless of race, religion, disability, etc!. It is the one thing I know I did right in raising them!.
I wish the rest of the world would wake up and realize that those things don't matter!. We all miss out on knowing some of the best folks around us by being prejudiced!. What a shame!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

What do you mean the real cause!? The simple and "real" cause is people being judgmental, assumptive, generalizing, and just plain hate-y!. They don't take the time to get to know people; they believe stereotypes; they are prideful i!.e!. slavery!.

I think your environment is the real cause of most racism!. Fear of "difference", enforced by the people around, based on how it "has always been"!. I believe I was raised by a racist Father, but he just didn't know any better!. I am not a racist!. The color of ones skin doesn't make or break anyone in my book!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

look at how we engulf ourselves into condemning the other team, condemning other country, state, or region, condemning other political party!.!.!. this is all much the same as condemning others because of the way they look!.!.!. it is not just race, it is even how we look with what we wear, how our hair is done, and what age we look!.!.!. my grandfather was black, i look white, my wife is 1/2 black 1/2 chinese, and i still have to fight off racism that was taught to me because my parents were from an ignorant time, i was educated in public school, and i was sheltered from exposer to other races & cultures!.!.!. our children will be the perfect hybrid for a peaceful future as they will look at the parents & grandparents they love and respect & see many colors, many religions, and many cultures & thus will find it hard to hate what is part of them!.!.!. thus the proof that we hate what is not us, because we take so much pride in ourselvesWww@Enter-QA@Com

Differences cause racism-if all races joined and there was only one type of look then it would be the short person would be bad or the people with glasses, etc!.
