i was a good kid growing up and i don't have children of my own yet, but if i am hitting my kid, it's for a reason!. i don't agree with doing it in public but regardless, if anyone ever came up and made a comment to me about the way i was handling my child i don't think i could help myself from punching them in the forehead!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Before I became a parent I used to always scorn!.!.Id' never say anything but my thought were of disgust!.
Now though! When I see parents losing it, I just look away, at the end of the day you do not know what that person has been through that day!.
Even the most placid of people will eventually lose it with thier kids!.!.kids are very selfish, oblivious to thier own impact on the world and people around them as well!.!.!.yes they are cute and amazing, but they are out for themselves! lol survival I guess, but difficult for the handler!!.!.lol
Really the overall moral to the story is simply this:

Now though! When I see parents losing it, I just look away, at the end of the day you do not know what that person has been through that day!.

In my culture of Mexican parents, they spank their kids whenever they are disobedient!. My parents did that with me and my bro and we turned out great!.
To answer your question, I would just ignore it!. As long as it's not getting a little extremist, I would not intevene!.

Depandant on whether it is disipline or abuse are two different things, therefor i would have different plans of action for each!.
if it is discipline well frankly i havent a problem with that

I saw a child sticking two fingers up at the bus driver of the bus I was on yesterday!. His mum smacked him around the back of the head without any warning!. I found it highly amusing and so did my workmates when I told them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
