My ex did that to me to the tune of 30K!. He's a Brit & he left the country so the IRS & state came after me!. He also took out & maxed out some credit cards in my name but without my knowledge - until the bills came in after he left!. I thought about hiring a hit man, but couldn't afford it!. I did have some friends in England who offered to break his kneecaps - & I seriously considered it!. Today I'm glad I came to my senses & did nothing like that!. Instead he is on the "detain & extradite" lists on the INS & Customs!. If he tries to come back to the U!.S!.A!. to see his now adult daughter he'll go to jail!.
