I'm glad I found this!. He and I are talking about reconciliation, and it's sometimes too easy to focus on the bad, without looking at the good!. So, thank you!. ^_^
Ways I know that he loves me:
* he is making an extra effort to leave work at the office when he comes to see me
* he puts down his laptop now when I talk to him
* he has always been patient when teaching me a new programming language
* he took the time and patience to teach me how to operate Linux, and does not get irritated when I cannot figure something out on the command line, and I call him begging his help
* he remembers what my favourite flower is, and he also remembers that I find bouquets depressing (because they are beautiful for a few days and hen they die)
* !.!.!.so he bought me an aloe plant the other day, which I love (it's pretty, hardy --I can't kill it! ::lol::-- as well as useful)
* when he and I do not get along, he lets me walk away for a bit to cool down, without yelling at me that I should stay there and argue
* even when he mentioned divorce, he wanted to wait until I was healthy again so I would still be covered under his health benefits
* he lets the kids show *him* their "turn-around teeth" (when their teeth are loose and they twist them around!.!.!. Crikey that grosses me out ::shudder::)
* he has taken time to learn what pleases me, and
* he has taken time to teach me what pleases him, although he was very shy for so long about that
* he puts up with me singing silly mushy 80's songs
* he puts up with my wind chimes ::lol::
* he doesn't say anything when I cry during Casshern
* he is as brutally honest as I am
* he makes me coffee in the morning when we spend the night together (I don't eat breakfast)
* he trusts me with his work laptop (which is über-confidential)
* he plays Karaoke Revolution with me, even though he thinks he can't sing ^_^
* he puts up with my varied fashion choices, and respects that I do not need to dress a certain way all the time to fit into any labeled group (and to top it off he'll actually compliment some of my most bizarre outfits! ::lol::)
* he once again shares his hopes and dreams with me
* he has told me that even if he and I do not remain together, he always wants me to be his best friend, and
* he has never laughed when I've told him the same thing
!.!.!.just to name a few!. ^_^
