I'm Canadian and first off I'll say, we do not say eh, at the end of our sentences, say aboot, or hoose!

We do sound exactly like Americans! But we are sure way different form the Americans! :)

EDIT: Only one part of Canada speaks french, which is the province of Quebec!. 92% of Canadians don't say "eh" after every sentence!.

A loonie is a dollar not a relative!.

We don't live in igloos!.

Hah, well anyways I never heard Minnesotans before! By the way everyone is different, some Canadians may not sound like the Americans do, but the majority does!. I find if you compare a Northern Canadian to a Southern American, they sound way different, so I guess it depends on where you live too! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

i'm from toronto, ontario in canada, it's right above michigan
i would say that the canadian accent for the most part sounds like an american accent!.
i moved from there a while ago but a lot of my family still lives there and they do say certain words differently
and canadians really do say 'eh' after every sentence haha=]
in quebec and montreal and whatnot, many do have french accents because that's the main language there!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are regional Canadian & American accents that are world's apart!.!.!. like the Quebec accent compared to the Southern drawl!. But the general Canadian accent & general American accent is similar!. Sometimes I can tell when someone is Canadian by the way they pronounce certain words, and other times I can't really tell!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well the North American accent can differ depending where you live in the country!. The farther north you go the accent changes quite a bit, and yes they really do use certain phrases such as "eh!?" and "dontchya know"
And I am sure that accent changes depending on the region of Canada you are in!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, I don't think it is!.
The stereotypicial accent of Canadians is saying about like, "aboot" and house like, "hoose," but I've never been to Canada, so I don't know whether or not they actually talk like that!.

They do on tv though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

most of them speak in clear American language, but a lot of them also speak French!.it depends on what part of Canada you go to !.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have no idea, I live in Winnipeg Canada like a couple hours away from the border but i cant really tell the different a lot!. :) xoWww@Enter-QA@Com
