Question: Why do they put call buttons in stores!?
i was shopping in a department store the other day when i heard the recorded announcement overhead "we have conveniently located call buttons throughout our store to assist our customers!. if you need help, please press the call button, and someone will be with you momentarily"!.
now!.!.!.if they were really interested in being honest, they would re-record that message to say "we have installed call buttons around our store to assist our customers!. it really is a shame that most of them don't work, and that even if we did hear them, we are far too unconcerned with your needs to respond to them!. nevertheless, we made the gesture, and we feel that's enough"!.

In response to one person mentioning Walmart - I just want to say that last time I was there I was buying a whole ginger root they had in their produce section and the cashier looked at it and threw it away instead of it ringing it up, thinking it was garbage!.

Yeah, call buttons!. Like at Walmart!. As if anyone would come to help you!. And if they did by chance, they wouldn't know where anything is!.

i find them only to be handy in lumberyards when you need to get something cut to specification!. other than that, they are useless!. but now the little scanners they have everywhere to help you price what their too lazy to finish price marking employees forgot are kinda useful!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
