I used to work as a cashier at a grocery store!. And for me and my co-workers it really depended on what time of day it was!. If it's early in the morning it was always great to be able to talk to someone cause the store only had one of us work, so we had no one else to talk to and we'd get bored!. In the after noon, don't talk to them, they're probably busy or just want to get the fu(k out of there!. And at night was usually the worst time to talk to any of us!. Because it had been a long day or something and we just want to get you out as quickly as possible!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
hahahh im a cashier and i really all depends!. people talking to you is cool i like it but like when theyre annoying like oh you look bored just standing there or are you open when clearly my lights on, etc, etc!. but other than that!. yes!. it makes everything more comfortable and the job gets really boring and repetative so a convo thrown in the mix is a nice change!. i advise people to do so! and be appreciative!Www@Enter-QA@Com

If they smile and look you in the eye and actually answer you in English they are probably open to chatting!.

i am a cashier, i genuinely enjoy people and i think that shows!. i always have people talking to me and i LOVE it! !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.ps the ones who think they shouldn't have to talk to us need to get off their cell phones and be polite!. otherwise i shall come to your job and spit gum at you! lolWww@Enter-QA@Com
Yes!.!. I force them to talk to me!.!. I am a "BLABBER MOUTH ! " I never stop talking !. I even talk in my sleep!. LOL

I say hello and goodbye and sometimes ask how they are, purely because I want to be a nice person and treat them like one and not just some machine ringing items all day long!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
