I don't work for that reason!. I live too far out (55kms) from the nearest town!. I used to work but am no a disability pensioner and I am feeling like a failure!. I would like to work part time but have no way of getting to and from work and no car and no public transport!. I am dependent on mom and dad and I am 32!. Sad, I know!. I have nowhere else really to live at the moment!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I used to have to travel some 3000+ miles!.
I would take a taxi to the airport at Newcastle!. Catch a plane to London (1 hour) then a Plane to Lagos (8 hours)!.
From Lagos it was a bus ride for about 5 miles to the river!. Then it was a motor launch (15 minutes) to a place called Snake Island and then a 1hour helicopter ride to the offshore installation!.
Luckily (or unluckily depending on your point of view) we only did this month on month off!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I walk for about 8 minutes to the train station and am on the train for almost 50 minutes through 10 stations simply going into Central London and then I'm on the bus for 10 minutes from the station into work soooo about an hour and ten minutes!.

You lucky woman!!! :-) I got about a half hour walk to work, I like it, some fresh air, and good music to get me ready for the day! I had it a lot worse, I had two buses and a hour and a half, depending on the buses!. Now that sucked!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
1hour drive, biggest pain in the *** ever, plus i have to carpool, which sucks, and i dont carpool back, i bus, so because of this cities shity public transport it takes 2hours to get home!.!.!.!.!. (im gona move soon cuz the jobs important, more so than where i live)Www@Enter-QA@Com
0!.7 miles!. And do you know how many places to stop for a drink are between my house and work!? More than 20 and that is without taking small detours down side streets!. You add small detours and it is like 40!. It is a long walk home when I don't drive!Www@Enter-QA@Com
My hubby can work from home!. I can't, so i have to travel at least an hour and a half!. If my husband drives me, which he usually does 9 times out of 10, it's about half an hour to 40 minutes drive!.!. If it was possible to do Nursing from home, i'd do it!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
