What is the point of the thumbs up or down?!
Question: What is the point of the thumbs up or down!?
You know how like when you answer a question and someone can give you a thumbs up or thumbs down (seems like its more thumbs down even if its not a bad answer) but what's really the point!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I kinda got the idea what it was meant for, but it doesn't happen like that!.
What gets me is questions like:
"What is your kid going to be for Halloween!?" "What is your favorite thing your child does!?" "What is something your child does to make you smile!?" "What is your favorite food!?" How can there be a BAD (thumbs down) answer!?!?
I have seen answers that are thumbs down worthy, but many more great answers with thumbs down!. Some answers are personal experience and that's not all bad!. :)

I wonder about that myself!. Some good questions and good answers can be removed when many ignorant morons give them enough thumbs down!. Many ignorant and gullible seem to want to believe that the world will end 21 December 2012, and if I tell everyone that's 'balle" (BS, in Italian), I get some thumbs down!. There are no good answers when ignorant people can rule!. This practice doesn't appeal to anyone's better nature!. Sadistic ignoramuses (or is it ignoramii) can vent their frustrations by giving thumbs down to people who know much more than they do!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think the original concept was probably for when someone gives the wrong information in an answer, but these days people thumbs down for no apparent reason!. It keeps the fairies busy!. I have a fairy flying around here somewhere!.!.I haven't seen her yet today, but I'm sure she'll be out soon to bless me with her thumbs downs!. One of my contacts has a hit out on the fairy, with a high reward for any takers!Www@Enter-QA@Com
