umm!.!.!.you know that vinegar is acetic ACID right!? Not good for the paint!.
A mild dish detergent is okay so long as you do a good rinse afterwards, don't allow it to dry!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Most of the people who live around me use dish washing liquid mixed with water to hand wash their cars, then they rinse their cars with tap water from the water hose and finally wipe their car down with lots of soft rags!. I'm afraid that vinegar might be too tough on your paint job!.
I know that you can use ammonia or vinegar to clean jewelry, but I don't think it would be wise to use vinegar or ammonia anywhere on your car, with the exception being Windex to clean your windshield and surrounding glass only!. And never use Windex on the insides of your windows if you have your windows tinted!. Windex will eat right through the darkening film that is used to tint car and truck windows!.
I have never heard anyone ever complain about using dish washing soap, especially if you use a very mild soap that doesn't leave any soap scum behind like soap bars do!. Bars of soap are to be used only in the bath tub, shower or sink!.
We have used Ivory Dish Washing Soap and Dawn Grease-Cutting Dish Washing Soap on both my husband's pick up truck, as well as on my Jeep Liberty, and we have had not one single problem, so far!.

Back before car wash was invented (and readily available in stores) we used laundry detergent!. Will you do mine next!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Ahh heck squirt a bit of liquid Oil of Olay in the water!.!.!. Your car will be sparkling clean and soft to the touch and there won't be in wrinkles!.!.LOLWww@Enter-QA@Com
