Nope!. I have friends online, but i don't give out much of my personal info over the web (such as numbers, addresses) because you never know who could track them donw!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
It depends!.
First in my opinion, it depends on where you meet up with such people!.
Say take for example, it's a common interest community and that everyone in there have the same interest, say japanese animation!.
Most probably it would be easier to understand each other and appreciate this form of hobby!. Therefore in this context it is easier to mingle around and be more open about their interest!.
Of course there are also the bad side of the coins!. Not everyone out in the field is a sheep, there are also wolves in sheep clothing!. But these are the ones that are giving the online community as a whole a bad name!. It's just that they are more rampantly seeking out people and a frightening thing is they have the know how to bait their prey!.
With technology as it is, with more people are spending time online and there's bound to a lot of good honest people out there!. So instead of actively trying to find love, one could just participate in numerous interest groups, enjoying what they like as well as knowing more people!.
I personally believe and predict that a lot of these online relationships will blossom in the future!.
My advice is to not actively look out for love online, let it come to you!.
Just be a bit more careful!. Select those that you know for a longer period of time online or when you meet someone, go with a friend to meet them or as a group/common interest group!.
Anyway based on my experience, I have met this girl online and eventually we started talking on the phone!. After speaking to her and sharing so much in common, I found myself falling head over heels for her!. She was my first love!. But because of numerous problems that went on with my life during that period, it just didn't happen!.
However I have made and met a lot of friends from online!. Because they are still people in the end!. It's all about finding the right people I guess!.
