When I was a kid, we started the minute that school let out for the day!. So about 3ish and then we went until 9pm!. Then again, we hit several neighborhoods plus the local malls during that timeframe!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think around 6 pm!. That gives them time to eat dinner and get ready!.

Young kids will go trick or treating around 4-5:30 because it will get dark soon with it being October and they will be with their parents!.
