In a point of your life has one of your parents ever ran away and left you?!

My Mom used to have meltdowns and kind of run away from home just overnight from time-to-time!. Actually, it was better when she did that because the other way she would act out was more painful for me -- I'd get a beaten! I think sometimes kids would be better off if a parent ran away instead of sticking around and being violent and unstable with their children!. I know it has left me with scars that never heal -- in spite of the fact that I've made a wonderful life as an adult!. Growing up was not a happy time for me and I don't have a lot of happy childhood memories!. So, think about it this way -- maybe the time your Mom was gone was not really a bad thing!. She may have needed to be away from her family for awhile in order to get her life in check so that she could come back and be a better Mom!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My dad left for good right after my little brother was born, and my mom abandoned me for a year to go look for them!.
