1600 and 1700's england!. basically all american culture is just slightly modernized puritan english culture with some tacos and spaghetti mixed in!. as for modern countries, america has to many contradictions to be compared to anyone-- we're are leaders in the field of human rights, yet we LOVE to bomb defenseless brown people; we're rich as hell, but we don't want free health-care or anything that would make our lives easier; we say we're for freedom for everyone, but we don't allow gay marriage (and, by the way, south motherf*cking africa has gay marriage-- 15 years ago they had apartheid, and now they're ahead of us!!)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

When I went there for a summer, for the first few weeks, I felt like I was still in the US!.!. only everyone had a accent and the scenery was better!.!. lol
