The selling point with HD radio is that it is free. The downside...same terrestrial formats without innovation.
The selling point with satellite radio is that you can hear uncensored material with a wide variety of formats. The downside (if you don't mind it)...subscription fees though they are on the average $12.99 a month.
Forget an adapter.
