How much does it cost to text radio stations, like the LA based stations 102.7 KIIS-FM and Power 106?
Do these stations charge you extra when you text them, or is it just like sending a regular text under your own cell phone plan? References would be appreciated! :)

More and more stations are using the text us service. Usually they ask you text some 5 digit number. The service provided by the station is FREE! HOWEVER! It cost what a normal text message would cost you. If you have unlimited text messaging, nothing extra would be charged. If you pay per text, then it would cost whatever it is you pay per text. REMEMBER, the station doesnt charge you. When I am speaking of cost, I am talking about cost from your phone carrier.
