When [or if] Online radio bids farewell, will Launch Cast go too?!

Question:

When [or if] Online radio bids farewell, will Launch Cast go too?

I'm not sure of the answer because Yahoo is a big corporation that may or may not be able to afford to pay the new royalty rates.

Answers:

Yahoo has said it will not operate Yahoo Music at a loss. That said, negotiations are ongoing. Sound Exchange said they will not impose the new rates so long as good faith negotiations continue. At the same time, there is a bill in Congress to stay the rates by 60 days. And of course, there is the Internet Radio Equality Act which has lots of co-sponsors but has yet to receive a floor vote.

My personal opinion is that this situation will get worked out some way, some how.
