TS-940s Kenwood Radio. Buzz on receive signal and buzz on carrier. Until it warms up. 20 min.?
Unit works perfect after warm up and won't fail until turned off and left off for several hours. Then turn on and starts all over again.
Answers:
Assuming its not in the power supply feeding the radio it could be the power supply section inside the radio.(faulty reg or cap etc)
Also check all grounds and screws holding boards to the chassis.
