XM Radio Portable question?!

XM Radio Portable question?
I work in a warehouse where we are allowed to listen to headphones, music, ipods, etc.
Will XM radio work in a warehouse? Also, which product would work the best? I would not be able to listen much at home on in the car - just at work. Is the portable XM the best option? Can I get live radio with the portable XM?
How is the reception????
