How can i start an internet radio broadcast for free?

a friend and i want to start our own internet radio show...we need some type of software that will enable us to both be broadcasting on the same "station" from our respective homes and still be able to take calls, whether its through skype or whatever...we are having a hell of a time finding something that could work....if we have to, we will pay a fee for it, but if we can avoid it that would be grand! if anyone has any ideas or help on this it would be greatly appreciated, we already have a BBS and a myspace set up for this project...we are serious about it!

i forgot to add, we need it to be able to run on window AND mac.....yeah i know....
