im using a limited internet pakege and like to lessen to the radio on the internet but would like to know how many mb it is useing to do this. (per hr)
Thank you.

Answers:

That depends on the bit rate and possibly what format the radio is streamed over the internet. A number of radio stations broadcast using a128kbps bit rate. I would guess around 56 megabytes per hour (at 128kbps).

To work it out multiply the radio station's bit rate by 60 to find out how much per minute. Then multiply the answer by 60 to find how much per hour. To convert to megabits per second divide by 1024. The last step is to convert to megabytes (of which 8 megabits make a megabyte). Divide the megabits answer by 8. This will roughly give you how many megabytes per hour. It assumes no interuptions in the data flow.
