Have you heard about the new royalty fees for internet radio stations?
This isn't much of a question as much as an awareness of whats going on.
Today is the offical day of silence for most if not al internet radio stations. http://www.savenetradio.org
The last question asked was months ago do you think internet radio stations should be saved? Unfortunanlty I only found the question now, after the answering was closed...
my answer... yes.
These companies dont make as much money as we think.
I listen to internet radio more then real radio... honestly im sick of hearing the same 5-10 songs over and over because some manager// record dealer has paid of the station to play this song X amount of times. Also I cant bare to listen to some of to stupid pranks they play on people, I admit 1/10 can be funny but overall theyre just wrong... i think i drew the line with Ryan's Roses (on kiis.fm) 3rd all the comerials play more then the actual music (now i admit they make money of this and need it to stay open but really now so often?)

Yes but I'm listening to XM right now. I don't frequent internet radio. I was unaware of the royalty issue until recently.
