Which is the best radio for SW listening?

please help me to find out a value for money radio particularly made for short wave listening.

It all depends on how much you want to spend..
You can buy something for $29.95 or $1500
it all depends on how deep you want to get into the hobby..

More important than the radio is the antenna.. with a crappy
antenna your $1500 radio won't pull in much stations..
Remember the "antenna" is everything.

If you just want to get your feet wet, I suggest you going to
Radio Shack and buying the Grundig portable for $30
and see if you like it.. Your money won't be wasted as
it's a good radio to keep in case of emergencies..
