How do i start up a radio broadcast?

i have an idea for a radio show i was wondering how do i start one up?

I assume you mean a simple SHOW for broadcast and not a station.

The best is to make a recording of your planned show and take it to the Production Director of any radio station where you think you would be most welcome. Keep the show the same format as the station currently plays. ie: country - country... blues - blues..... rock - rock.. Don't take country to a rock station and vise versa.

Be prepared to be rejected many times as you go down this long hall of idiots. Every PD thinks he knows more about radio than anyone living. At each place you visit, ask them what changes they would make to get it on their station.. all advice should be welcomed.

Eventually, you will hit a General Manager or PD who will listen and be open to new ideas. THEN your job will get exciting... busy.... crazy... and you will often wonder why you ever got into this insane business.... **grin**
