I enjoy listening to the music satellite radio channels on Direct TV. My father subscribed to satellite radio fot his car sometime ago. However, we noticed the music is different on tv and on the radio....while playing simutaneously. Are there two different satellite networks?

Yes There are 2 different Satellite radio networks, XM and Sirius. On Direct TV they offer XM Satellite Radio. Depending on what kind of car your father has, he might have Sirius Satellite Radio. If you tell me what kind of car your father has, i can see what radio service he has! If the companys merge together as they are talking about, you won't have that problem anymore!
