Why does AM 1000 in chicago have static now?
I noticed recently that AM1000 has been full of static during the day, and I can barely get it at night. Does anyone know why?

when that particular problems occurs...the station is usually on lower power than normal due to work on the transmitter...now, dependin' on the type of work of bein' done, this problem can last a few days to a couple of weeks...
