usually i prefer working in NJ
but i have looked at some jobs in NYC
how hard is it usually to get an internship in radio

Contact your local radio stations. Especially the ones you are big fans of. Offer your skills to them. Let them know you will do what you can to get the skills you need as well as help them by offering whaat you have. The best place to work is a station that you are a fan of because you will have more passion for it.
