Using Music in Radio commcerials?!

Question:

Using Music in Radio commcerials?

I used to work an an Agency and I produce club and concert radio commcercials. When i did i used "pop" music in the ADS...typipically the music that corresponded to the particular station's format. Since i was an "Employee" and to an extent shielded i never considered the legality of using copy righted music. Now that i am freelanceing, i am in the process of designing a resume web site that features copys of some of my commercials. Is there any legal information i need to know about in regards to using copy righted music in the ADS i produced....on my site? I

Answers:

since you are not receiving any money from the ads on yer resume; there should be no problem with copyright laws...it's the same thing as an announcer submitting an aircheck tape that contains music that was played during the airshift...
