Is any one else bothered by?

the songs that are on the 'pop' radio stations these days?

I'm 26 and I'm not a prude but I am tired of my 6 year old singing "loosen up my buttons" and "milkshake" and all the other disgustingly inappropriate songs on the radio.

Yeah I know change the station-trust me I do but doesn't it get to the point where like on televsion certain things shouldn't be played at certain times?

And I do not have that crap on my radio but the poster who said it is everywhere is right! You go to the grocery store and hear it and the other children are singing it.

I just tell my daughter it is not appropriate and she is fine with it but it's at the point where I wonder why I should even have to say it.

yup! Its true but I guess our society now is feverishly based on SEX SEX and SEXY women!!!~
If a chubby, conservative girl comes out with a pop record I bet not alot of people would buy ... maybe those who really like a song or something ...
but then if a slim, trim sexy girl in underwear shaking her @$$ comes out with the STUPIDEST songs ever she will be famous over night!!

I have nothing against her but her songs all sound the same and I feel like Im listening to a spelling bee!!~ Does she have to spell everything? ~ and people still buy ... why???
