Who else thinks Radio One have RUINED Global Gathering?!?
I've been going to Global since 2003, my boyfriend's been going since it started, and it's always been a bit of a tradition with me and my friends.
Since Radio One has decided to CASH IN on it, however, the festival has gone progressively downhill. It used to be a good dance festival, but due to the Radio One invasion on the Friday night, the place is now full of CHAVS, we remedied this by just going on the Saturday night, not camping and making sure we got there quite late so most of them had collapsed in drunken heaps on the floor by the time we got there.
But this year it's impossible to get a ticket just for the Saturday! Not being a fan of Radio One or the mainstream, samey crap that they think qualifies as dance music, we object to now having to pay, not just £50 to go on the Saturday and see the DJs that we want to, oh no, now to be able to go at all, we have to pay over £100 for both the nights!
Does anyone else think this is wrong?
