I used to love it! Think that R1 was better then and as has been said - it appealed to a much wider audience. Am now a R2 girl...... DLT talentless? Why was he presnting for so long then? Same goes for Steve Wright. I think history has judged the R1 djs of the 70's & 80's a bit harshly, tarred as they are with the 'Smashie and Nicey' image! They were a product of their time, when R1 was aimed at a broader age group, not just under 25's. No not really do you? NO. DLT was an overpaid, talentless idiot. Why Steve Wright still has his job is a mystery to me. better on the tv
