Question:

Do i need a perfofming right license to play a radio at work in uk.?

Answers: If you are listening to your own private radio softly at your desk or with earbuds or headphones, no. If the radio is being played over the intercom, or loud so that many employees can hear it, it is considered a rebroadcast and yes, you are liable for fees. This is true in the US and the UK, just different places where the checks go.
