Question:

How do a radio station send its signal from its studio in one location to its transmitter in another location?

If an AM or FM radio station's studio is in one location, for example the radio stations studio is 15 miles from their transmitter or transmitter tower, how do they send their signal at their studio, to their transmitter in another location?

Answers: Typically , the studio will have a microwave dish on the roof , this sends the signal as a stream to the transmitting site ., it then gets decoded (if they use encryption) back into audio , this then gets fed into the transmitter, and broadcast to the public.
