A touchy subject. To be honest, if one of the main commercial stations had "White Music" nights there would be grief. Also, how about Music of White Origin or MOWO awards? BBC Radio have an Asian Network. I personally do not have an issue and I do not listen to commercial radio stations very often but why do they have to make a big deal out of it; almost seems they are trying to be PC?

it's not racist. it's a cultural attraction/promotion for their radio station. what you said quote"black music is crap anyways" is racist and in fact i find im angry at you just for saying that, not all african americans have on type of music that they play, theyre are white rappers too, white singers,white everything, african americans are in rock bands, heavy metal bands, jazz, rap, everything they arent limited to one type of music becauise of their race, and your comment is very very racist and and its extremely offensive. you are stereotyping people by saying that all that music is crap, just because a major part of rappers are negros, and you dont like it does not mean that it sucks, it just means that they have many talents in that specific area.

Oh dear randy you do have a narrow view of what "black" music is, it's not ALL aggressive, it's just the ones that most of the commercial radio chooses to play. I couldn't care less what type of music they play, I find radio 1 boring anyway, what with same songs played over again throughout the day. And no they shouldn't be reported for racism, as I don't see this as a race issue. To me music is music, I listen to and like most kinds of music, I don't see the "race" of the musician behind it.
