Who enjoys Public Broadcast Radio?!

Question: I could not live without my public radio. The element of surprise is always better than knowing what was coming next.
Theres some stations( many ) that have "Lists" though, and they can play a decent song to death in a minute,
But, I love my DJ Jim Ladd on 95.5 KLOS in L.A., He is the only DJ on Public Broadcast Radio that can play what he wants , when he wants, and actually plays fans requests ( For real!) ( And gives fans’ credit bBy Name 90% of time )
( JACKFM says this, but they use a list too)
and Having input from someone who gives a SH*& about humanity and the environment. ( "Treehugger"? some might say he is, but what is wrong with caring about the environment that your children and grands have to live in , maybe if more people did , than we wouldnt have to walk in garbage on the beaches, have rolling blackouts, and water police, because PEOPLE cared about them selves enough)
Sorry it was the treehugger comment before this one, it got me going.
But anyways, He has a gift to put our requests along with his own wants together to make powerful sets of music ( rock music, new and old, w/ a lil rockabilly and good old country) sets that tell a story, like Full Moon, Religion, Politics, peace, War, you name it.
Freedom Of Radio
I think is a GIFT given to us and we should appreciate it for all its worth. Without it , we wouldn't have or care about mp3's, satellite radio, on the tv and stereo.
Why are so many always so quick to throw away the one that started it all/paved the way?
Would you extinguish the bones of Adam and Eve if you found them?
Would you burn the first Draft of The Bible, just because it has been revised and more reader friendly now?
(Doesnt have to be religious, just trying to make you see what i mean)

I say SAVE PUBLIC BROADCAST RADIO
It has been my therapy more times than i can count. In a mood ( any mood) driving home and turn on the radio dial, and there’s "that song" that hits you just right and has a message, sometimes one only you can see. You know how music is!
But it is even more meaningful when it is random and somebody else decided that was the song to play at that time, and you know there are others appreciating it at the same time as you. You are sharing an experience, yet in privacy.

So, Yes I listen to Public Broadcast Radio and LIKE It, I "ENJOY' it, heck I LOVE it at night from 8pm to 1am especially, M THRU F
And The UnderGround Garage with Little Steven and The Deep End with Nick Michaels
On weekends.

Peace , Love and Rock N Roll

LORD HAVE MERCY!!!!!

Anyone who enjoys folk music, classical music, sports or news?
I think you're thinking it's mostly an old ppls station? Maybe. But all kinds of ppl like it.
my radio stays on NPR the only intelligent thing on the radio
I love listening to Garrison Keillor's Lake Wobegon and all things considered. Great, thought provoking stuff!
I do..especially their environmental programs. My husband works for NPR so I listen all the time.
Better than average news coverage, good shows, decent jazz and rock music
It's way too left-wing liberal and for my taste. Too many tree-huggers, too.

Plus I kinda resent that taxpayer dollars are funneled to such a biased one-sided media outlet.

Let PBS sink or swim on it's own without public funding (if it can).
I listen to 3 stations on XM & NPR.....exclusively.
